On 1/29/10 I was diagnosed with non hodgkins lymphoma under my right arm. I contacted one of best friends Bev and told her about it and we prayed. And she sent me the healing scriptures to read everyday. And I also continued to pray and believe God’s word because his word cannot come back void. I quoted the scriptures daily. On 2/5/10 I went for my first treatment and the next morning at 5am I woke up from a burning sensation and I went to bathroom and the lump was gone and there was fluid coming out of the area. I started to cry and I called Bev and told her what happened later that day and she said “girl you are healed!” I sure was! Today 3/11/10, I went for my pect scan and the dr. told me I am cancer free. God is good and if you have faith and believe his promises he will do what he says. Jesus heals today just as he did in the bible times!!!
I wanted to take this opportunity to thank you for all your support and for all the holy words you’ve given my soul. You have no idea how much it has helped me thru this year. May god bless you and your family. Please continue to minister our hearts for this new year, you have made a difference in my life and I’m sure in others people life too. Again thank you and may god give you the strength to always serve your community the way you’ve always done it.
Happy New Years to you and your family.
GOD BLESS YOU
…I asked myself what part ministered to me the most. There are many topics here and I am sure THE LORD is more than able to bring out many teachings from the scriptures mentioned, dealing with the religious remarks, keeping the peace, what is written in THE WORD OF GOD…but what stuck out most was when JESUS redirected the question? This is great wisdom that is not utilized by HIS people. This is a nugget that was plucked up and placed in my spirit.
HE did it again! I read and finished this article at HIS perfect timing… …I stayed thinking for one moment. I said “thank you” because I felt that was a preview of what HE can do in husband. HE was giving me hope. Honestly, recently, Bev, I didn’t want to pray for my husband and in my heart I had given up. God knew it. HE gave me a little look at what is coming, if only I stay obedient and pray for however long it takes. These were the words that confirmed it,
“As we go through an experience that we are vessels being used for others to see, the Lord will always give us something to look forward to. He doesn’t allow us to be stuck in the ditch and crumble. He gives us a glimpse of our future and what will happen if we stay obedient.”
I continue to learn the importance of holding on to HIM WHO knows it all, no matter what is going on around me. HE is so merciful and kind and watchful and observant and my sustainer….
Thanks for this uplifting message. It really hits home for me. So, thanks for this reminder of Jonah, and how God’s grace is always there to pick us back up when we’re ready to start anew.
God has blessed each of us by your ministry! Keep up the good work!
