Scripture – Isaiah 40:31 (February)

Scripture – Isaiah 40:31

Isaiah 40:31 (KJV)

But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

How many of us have a problem with patience and waiting on the Lord?  Everyone wants everything done quickly.  But we serve a God that wants to work all things out for our good.  Most of the time that means waiting for Him to work it all out.

When the enemy says to us, “What are you waiting around for, why are you allowing so and so to treat you that way, etc.”  Remember, the Lord will do a few things on our behalf as we obey and wait upon Him.

He shall renew our strength, we shall mount up with wings as eagles, we shall run and not be weary; and we shall walk, and not faint.

This is powerful because God will equip us.  We will have the strength, the power to rise above our circumstances, and have the endurance to push through it.  Halleluyah!  That’s something to shout about.

When I recite the scripture, it always reminds me of the Fred Hammond song.  I’ve attached the link for you to sing along and praise God for all that He is.
