Nothing is a waste of time if you use the experience wisely.
– Auguste Rodin
From the moment we enter this Earth, we begin our journey of experiences. It’s impossible to be alive and not go through them.
With every experience, we have the opportunity to use it for our own good and pass along to others; assisting them in their journey of life. If we’re not a people who share our experiences, how do we help heal the broken hearted and lost souls?
Many of us may take our experience and use it unwisely. This, in turn, will hurt us and the people we interact with. Even if you don’t think you have anything to offer, we all have an experience and the ability to touch another life in a special way.
Choice – To act out your experiences negative or positive. Do you blame those who hurt you or do you fuel it with power to overcome and pour out to others who have experienced your SAME pain?
Jesus had to experience all His suffering in order to be our Redeemer, our Messiah, and the Lamb that would be sacrificed for all of us. He had to battle Satan alone in the mountains. He was abandoned by His disciples when He was taken by the Romans, and went through many other trials and tribulations in order to be the Victor at the end of the day.
Nothing is by coincidence. Our plan is laid out like a map having joy, sadness, sorrow, and pain; all to complete the master plan. All of the experiences packaged so perfectly.
It’s important to build your house on a rock. When trouble comes, your house and foundation may be shaken, but it will not be broken or torn apart. The same with faith; as you build your mind with bible principles and practice them on a daily basis, your soul is fed with the proper equipment to stand strong when trouble comes. In the natural, it may appear one way, but you know what the Lord has written in the Bible. You may be shaken and hurt by the things that are happening, but you focus yourself to the Heavenly and know that your faith will stand taller and stronger. As the hymn goes, “On Christ the solid rock I stand, all other ground is sinking sand.” We can’t trust anything else, but by what Christ has given us.
Proverbs 3:13 (AMP)
Happy (blessed, fortunate, enviable) is the man who finds skillful and godly Wisdom, and the man who gets understanding [drawing it forth from God’s Word and life’s experiences]…
The author of this quote understood firsthand about experiences, rejections, and not allowing life get the worst out of him. He pushed through the trials that were set before him and became one of the most famous sculptures.
Don’t be quick to throw in the towel as it may be the experience to catapult you to the next level. When the breakthrough is close, the enemy will turn up the heat for you to fail, but if you stay the course and surpass the adversities of life, the Lord will bring you to a higher ground and will reward accordingly. Just when you think you can’t take any more, is when the Lord will raise you up and surprise you with extra endurance and strength. But the key to it all is to stay the course with Jesus and do not waiver. It gets tough and sometimes we are dealt with things we THINK we can’t handle. But only God knows what we are truly made of; not man.
